CVE-2019-3498: Content spoofing possibility in the default 404 page
An attacker could craft a malicious URL that could make spoofed content appear on the default page generated by thedjango.views.defaults.page_not_found()view.
The URL path is no longer displayed in the default 404 template and therequest_pathcontext variable is now quoted to fix the issue for custom templates that use the path.

Per our supported versions policy, Django 1.10 and older are no longer supported.
Patches to resolve the issue have been applied to Django's master branch and the 2.1, 2.0, and 1.11 release branches. The patches may be obtained from the following changesets:
